FAQs on Canal Wharf Studios

Are there shops close by in case we need to buy lunch etc?2017-12-01T16:20:16+00:00

The studio is a short walk from Langley village centre where there is a shop, bakery, Dominos pizza, Costa coffee, post office, and cash point.

Do I need to credit Canal Wharf Studios in any videos?2017-12-01T16:19:31+00:00

If you are putting credits at the end of your video and have used our services, we would appreciate being credited. For example:

  • Filmed at Canal Wharf Studios, Berkshire
  • Post production – Canal Wharf Studios, Berkshire
  • Edited by Canal Wharf Studios
Do you have space for parking at the studio?2017-12-01T16:18:46+00:00

Parking is available in the Canal Wharf area when you turn in from the road. It is first-come first-serve, so you may need to park a little further away from the studio itself. We ask you don’t block any of the entrances to other businesses operating in Canal Wharf.

You can also use the garage area for a car if you don’t need it for anything else.

If you are planning to bring a number of cars, please let us know and we will see if we can arrange a parking alternative for you across the road from the studio.

I am outside the Berkshire area, will Academy House Productions come to me to film?2017-12-01T16:17:32+00:00

Currently, Academy House Studios is happy to travel roughly 50 miles for a day of filming.  However, please contact us and let us know what your project entails.  If it’s something we can achieve then we would be more than happy to work with you.

Do you provide any props for use at the studio?2017-12-01T16:16:19+00:00

By all means, contact us before you organise props for your shoot and if we can help in any way we will, but we don’t have a specific range of props for filming that we can offer.

Can I hire your team to help during our time at the studio?2017-12-01T16:15:32+00:00

Please let us know if you require help during your time studio. We will need to ensure a member of our team is available during that time to help you. There may be an extra charge if you require additional hours of help or need help with post production, but we are more than happy to discuss this with you.

Can I take any of the post-production software/equipment away with me to continue my work?2017-12-01T16:14:34+00:00

Unfortunately, we cannot allow you to take any of our post-production equipment or software with you when you leave. If you need to return to finish post-production please just let us know and we can arrange for you to come back, hopefully the next day. If you’re not sure you have what you need for post-production, why not hire our team to complete post production for you. Just get in touch enquiries@canalwharfstudios.co.uk.

Yes!  We work with two in particular who have a wealth of experience and know the studio well.  Please let us know what you are looking for and we will get in contact with them for you.

Will you lend me your equipment to use outside the studio?2017-12-01T16:10:26+00:00

We are unable to lend any equipment to be used outside the studio and do not rent our equipment out.

Yes.  You are welcome to bring your own equipment to the studio or rent equipment to use at the studio.
